Wow, What an Amazing weekend!

Our inaugural 2021 "Costumiers' Fantasy Masquerade Ball" weekend was an amazing chance for costuming creatives from all paths and journeys to come together as a community.  Thank you to everyone who attended and made it such a memorable experience.
It was a dazzling and thrilling display of stunning costumes, entertainment, music and dancing.
And wasn't the array of creative wares, handcrafts, clothing, jewellery, creatures at the craft market so tempting...  oops I may have bought a creature or three for myself...
Special thank you to all our costume exhibitors for putting forward your creations for display.  You did incredibly well and they all looked amazing.
Photos are being loaded up on our Facebook page now and will be linked and updated with folders here in coming weeks.

Dale Hobson

Dale has always had a fascination with what lies underneath the water,
In 1984 when old enough to complete a dive course and with that the opportunities to explore the underwater realm without the limitations of returning to the surface his adventures increased 10 fold, and has been on on a journey of discovery ever since.

Picking up an underwater camera and sharing that passion has seen Dale refining his skills and  equipment, constantly testing out new ideas.
Whether it be alone on deep reef or collaborating with others who have a passion for the work he does.

Dale loves the reaction when people view footage of a wreck dive or the composed beauty of an underwater model and transporting the viewer to that place is what drives his work.

Samantha Arthur

While the name may give it away, this team love to photograph not only cosplay, but geeky events of all types wherever they can.

Created in 2016, they have covered events in various countries and photographed many cosplayers, while still keeping true to their roots in New Zealand.  They are excited to expand into more events, and are looking forward to seeing what events the community come up with next.
