Rules & Information

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

To register & enter this competition you/your group must ALL hold tickets for the event / night for which you are wishing to compete.

Individual entry: Costumes must be at least 60% self-made/constructed by wearer/entrant.

Couple or group entry: All costumes must be at least 50% self-made/constructed by at least one person in the group.

REGISTRATION

Entries are open now, with limited number of entry places available per event. Register early to avoid missing out. Entries close three weeks prior to the event.

You don't need to have finished the costume/s to enter but you will need to have a good idea of what and how you are going to make it to describe this to us on the form.

You will be advised of your evening interview / judging time via email at least one week prior to the event.

JUDGING - WHERE & WHEN

Creatures of Atlantis Competition - Friday 15th July 2022

Judging 7pm - 10.30pm

Starfish Chillout Lounge (Millennium 5)

Fantasy Masquerade Ball Competition - Saturday 16th July 2022

Judging 6pm - 10.30pm

Millennium Business Centre (Main level opposite lifts)

JUDGING INTERVIEWS

You will be advised of your interview / judging time via email at least one week prior to the event.

Interview lengths:

3-5 minutes for individuals

8-10 minutes for couples / groups

The interview is a chance for judges to meet you for a quick and casual chat, and gives the judge an opportunity to get up close and look over your costume and/or accessories.

Be at the judging area at least 10 minutes prior to your interview time.

If you are not at the judging before your allocated time, your place & entry will be forfeited.

It is NOT the judges responsibility to contact or locate you should you be late, forget, or not locate and/or find out in advance where judging will take place.

WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT

Winners will be announced on Wednesday 20 July 2022 via our website and Facebook.

Trophies & awards will be couriered to you
